Early Stage · Safe AI for Work & Automation

AI that works
safely, in the
real world.

We build products, tools, and courses that help companies and individuals implement AI safely in their workflows and automation — and we do the internal research to understand what's actually happening under the hood.

We're just getting started. Follow along.

"AI is being adopted faster than people know how to use it safely. We're building the bridge."

Most companies want to use AI in their work and automation — but they don't know where to start, what's safe, and what the risks are. The tools and guidance they need simply don't exist yet in a practical, accessible form.

Bijectional exists to change that. We build practical products and teach real implementation — while running our own research into how these systems actually behave, including properties and behaviors that aren't yet publicly understood.

Products
Ready-to-use AI implementations for specific business workflows — automation pipelines, AI assistants, and internal tooling that companies can deploy without needing a machine learning team. Built with safety and reliability as defaults, not afterthoughts.
In development
Open-source Tools
Practical developer tools for safely integrating AI into existing systems — evaluation frameworks, monitoring utilities, and prompt testing kits. Free, auditable, and built for real engineering teams, not just researchers.
In development
Courses
Structured learning for companies and individuals who want to implement AI responsibly — covering automation design, safe deployment patterns, prompt engineering, and understanding model limitations. Practical, not theoretical.
Planned
Newsletter
A weekly digest of AI news, our internal research findings, and honest observations about what's working, what's not, and what the frontier models are actually doing. Written for people who work with AI, not just talk about it.

i.
How AI actually behaves in real automation workflows
Benchmarks don't tell you how a model behaves when it's running unsupervised inside a business process at 2am. We study real deployment patterns — what breaks, what drifts, and what surprises people.
ii.
Emergent properties nobody has documented yet
Current models exhibit behaviors and capabilities that aren't in any paper — things that surface only when you push systems in specific ways. We're actively mapping these, and we publish what we find.
iii.
Safe implementation patterns for non-technical teams
Most AI safety research is written for ML researchers. We translate it into practical guidance for the product managers, founders, and operations teams who are actually making deployment decisions.
iv.
Where AI can and can't be trusted to work autonomously
Agentic AI is being sold as a solution to everything. We're building a clearer picture of where autonomous AI genuinely helps, where it silently fails, and how to design systems that know the difference.
Honest, practical writing about AI — what we're discovering, what the frontier models are doing, and how to actually use this stuff safely.

Every issue covers AI news worth knowing, something we've learned from our own research or experiments, and a practical takeaway — a pattern, a warning, or a tool — you can apply directly to your work with AI.

No hype cycles, no breathless AGI takes. Just clear thinking about how AI is changing work, and how to stay in control of it. Free, always.

We're an independent lab at the beginning of something — no VC funding, no institutional backing. Just a focused team working on a problem we think genuinely matters. We're looking for people and organisations who want to help shape what we build.

Research & development partners

If you're a researcher, engineer, or organisation working on AI safety, automation, or responsible deployment — we'd love to collaborate. Whether that's co-authoring research, contributing to open-source tools, or sharing real-world data and use cases, we're open to conversation.
